Malaysian Concrete Canoe Competition
The American Concrete Institute Malaysia (ACI-Malaysia), organized a 2-day concrete canoe competition at the University of Malaya from November 25-26th, 2017.
The Malaysia Concrete Canoe Competition (MCCC), much like the ACI concrete canoe competitions in the United States, featured competitive events and heard from several distinguished speakers. In total, eight universities participated in the concrete canoe competition and were judged based on their design mix, quality of the cast and finishing, overall canoe strength, buoyancy, and the final race.

The ASCE National Concrete Canoe Competition (NCCC) provides students with a practical application of the engineering principles they learn in the classroom, along with important team and project management skills they will need in their careers.
