Fibers

For concrete that meets the biggest challenges, withstands the harshest conditions and stands the test of time.

Projects that utilize FORTA’s synthetic fibers can see:

  • Improved Quality

  • Reduction in Construction Time

  • Long-Term Cost Savings

  • Reduced Joints

FORTA-FERRO®

Known as our most popular fiber on the market, FORTA-FERRO® is used to reduce plastic and hardened concrete shrinkage, improve impact strength, and increase fatigue resistance and concrete toughness. This extra heavy-duty fiber also offers maximum long-term durability, structural enhancements, and effective secondary temperature crack control.

FERRO-GREEN®

FORTA-GREEN® is a unique blend of recycled polypropylene and copolymer macro fibers designed specifically for pervious concrete applications. FORTA-GREEN blend consists of 100% recycled polypropylene fibrillated (network) fibers and a high-performance twisted-bundle macro-monofilament fiber, designed to mix, distribute, and finish well.

ECONO-NET®

ECONO-NET® is an easy to finish, fully oriented, 100% virgin homopolymer polypropylene fibrous reinforcement in a collated fibrillated (network) form.

SUPER-NET®

SUPER-NET® is a softer, gray-colored fibrillated (net-shaped) fiber that mixes and performs well without sacrificing a premium surface finish. Its ‘SUPER-NETWORKING’ power, long-term durability, and true secondary/temperature control incorporates a fibrillated pattern and long length option into the concrete mix.

ULTRA-NET®

FORTA ULTRA-NET® is an extra heavy-duty fiber offers ‘ULTRA-NETWORKING’ power, maximum long-term durability, and true secondary/temperature control by incorporating a fibrillated pattern and long length option.

ECONO-MONO®

ECONO-MONO® is an easy to finish micro synthetic fiber, made of 100% virgin homopolymer polypropylene monofilament. This economy-grade fiber offers long-term durability, and functions as a plastic shrinkage reinforcement intended to reduce the formation of shrinkage cracks prior to initial set and to reduce settlement shrinkage.

NYLO-MONO®

NYLO-MONO® is a fine hair-like mono or single-filament shaped fiber made up of 100% virgin nylon fibrous monofilament that is natural white in color and undetectable at the concrete surface when finished.

MIGHTY-MONO®

MIGHTY-MONO® is a fully oriented, 100% virgin homopolymer polypropylene monofilament fibrous reinforcement. Due to its fine-filament nature, MIGHTY-MONO is virtually undetectable on the surface finish of most concrete applications.

MOBILE-MESH

FORTA® MOBILE-MESH™ is an alkali resistant glass fiber developed for modification and reinforcement of cement based applications to ensure increased long-term performance and durability. MOBILE-MESH will not rot or corrode and is unaffected by UV radiation, making it suitable for use with minimal cover.

PE-2®

PE-2® engineered fiber provides a mini-reinforcing system forming a more cohesive, inner-supported mix intended to reduce the formation of shrinkage cracks prior to initial set, as well as provide a rapid burn-out characteristic in the hardened mass after initial set. PE-2 is typically used in refractory castable concrete applications to provide early cohesiveness and green strength.

GREEN-NET®

GREEN-NET® is made from 100% recycled polypropylene, made from post consumer polypropylene goods, which would normally be disposed of in area landfills. Some of these materials include battery casings, netting, cargo bags, carpet face fibers, packaging film, label stock, strapping, drinking straws, and seed bags.

ECONO-CAST®

ECONO-CAST® is a fibrillated (net-shaped) fiber that mixes well in most all precast concrete mixing systems. ECONO-CAST is a viable alternate to non-structural handling steel reinforcement in a variety of precast products.

Stucco-Bond®

STUCCO-BOND® is a short, fine filament that mixes quickly and evenly in a wide variety of stucco, plaster, and mortar-like mixes. This engineered fiber provides a mini-reinforcing system forming a more cohesive, inner-supported mix that functions as a plastic shrinkage reinforcement intended to reduce the formation of shrinkage cracks prior to initial set.

Goldenair® Liquid Foaming Agent

FORTA GoldenAir® Flowable Fill concrete mixes may be formulated to a wide range of flow, strength, and weight characteristics.

Fiber Feeders

FORTA now offers fiber feeders to streamline and automate the fiber addition process for a variety of applications. By eliminating human error, improving job-site safety, and increasing accuracy, FORTA’s fiber feeder systems can save time and money. Visit www.fiberfeeders.com for more information!
