Harrington Suites Construction with FORTA-FERRO^®

Harrington Suites is a luxury apartment building in Malaysia that required a strong and durable concrete topping for the high-rise rooftop. Project specifiers chose FORTA-FERRO^® macro synthetic fiber as the reinforcement method due to its ability to reduce cracking and improve overall durability. During the construction process, the workers saw how easily and uniformly FORTA-FERRO^® was distributed into the mix. In addition, the fiber was undetectable – creating a smooth surface finish that pleased owners. The use of FORTA-FERRO^® aided in creating a safer environment for workers because heavy steel reinforcement was not lifted to the top floor. FORTA-FERRO^® was provided by FORTA^®’s official distributor in Malaysia, Innofloor Sdn. Bhd.

The topping off ceremony for Harrington Suites was held on September 5, 2016.
