FORTA Donates to CIM Auction
CIM AUCTION SUPPORTS DEGREE PROGRAMS IN CONCRETE INDUSTRY MANAGEMENT
Since its start in 1999, the Concrete Industry Management (CIM) Program has given students the skills and techniques needed in today’s ever-changing concrete construction industry. This first-of-its-kind program offers new concrete professionals extensive management skills developed specifically for the concrete industry while earning a four-year degree, or even an Executive Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree.
The annual CIM Auction, held during World of Concrete, has raised over $9 million since its inception. All proceeds from this amazing auction fund continued advancement for research and educational initiatives, as well as offering world-class academic programs. In 2020, members of the concrete industry donated over 200 items for auction resulting in nearly $1.2 million for a program that has helped over 1,300 graduates from 4 different universities. 2021, while not a record breaking year, raised an impressive $1.15 million in gross revenue.
