Project Description
FORTA-FERRO® was used to reinforce concrete curbs – to replace traditional steel rebar – at Wheeler Army Air Base and the Schofield Barracks. Since the project’s construction in 2001, the form and poured curbs have performed extremely well while heavy military vehicles drive over them day after day. After over 16 years, the FORTA-FERRO® reinforced curbs have stood the test of time and remain in extremely good condition.
