Project Description
FORTA-FERRO® was used to reinforce an interior slab-on-ground application for this steel plant manufacturing floor. The manufacturing floor was in need of an extremely durable concrete floor with above average impact resistance due to the heavy manufacturing equipment used daily. After taking the plant’s concerns into account, specifiers chose to reinforce the slab using FORTA-FERRO®. The fiber reinforcement solution was able to replace traditional steel reinforcement methods that are difficult and cumbersome to place, unlike FORTA-FERRO®.
