Project Description
For this project in Finland, the goal was to properly reinforce concrete tunnels while also remaining conscious of the project budget and time frame. FORTA-FERRO® was chosen to reinforce the two 2,340 meter long road tunnels using a shotcrete application. In addition to FORTA-FERRO®’s superior mixing and durability, it also saved the owner time and money with the completion of the tunnels under budget and six months quicker than the original estimate.
