Project Description
FORTA-FERRO® was used to reinforce slab-on-ground applications as a foundation for heavy magnetic reactors in a large steel mill. Due to technical issues, project owners didn’t want to use traditional steel reinforcement. Instead, the 24” slabs were reinforced with FORTA-FERRO® to replace #6 rebar 12” o.c.e.w. with double mats. Project owners were extremely pleased with the results and ease of use that FORTA-FERRO® offered.
