Project Description
The Sierra Vista Service Building was in need of a superior reinforcement method for a large slab-on-ground application that could replace traditional #4 rebar at 18” O.C. This office/warehouse floor needed to withstand heavy traffic while reducing the shrinkage cracking and improved impact resistant. Project specifiers chose FORTA-FERRO® to replace the rebar due to its superior crack reduction and durability. The concrete, mixed with FORTA-FERRO®, was easily pumped into place and finished with normal joint spacing. Project owners were very pleased with the way it finished and how well it has been performing since the initial construction.
