Project Description
Keith Wayne, owner of Wayne Brothers Incorporated, used FORTA-FERRO macro synthetic fibers on many high profile and demanding projects. In addition to his commercial decision to use fibers, he reinforced his new residential driveway with fibers rather than using steel rebar or wire mesh. Keith made this decision because he wanted to minimize cracking and achieve the best possible reinforced concrete. Other factors that lead him to choose FORTA-FERRO fibers was its superior mixing and finishing. The fibers performed extremely well during finishing which was achieved by using a power trowel and soft nylon broom. FORTA is honored to be chosen as the sole reinforcement for his personal driveway.
