Project Description
The FORTA-FERRO® was added, and mixed uniformly, by the experienced batch team of Anderson Concrete and was pumped and placed easily by Baker Concrete Construction after minor modifications to the pump-grate design. Upon completion, the Medical Center expansion project expects to achieve LEED Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design Silver Status, a green building rating system to acknowledge construction methods and materials that will result in a 20% less energy than conventional construction. Including other projects in the past, such as the Lane Parking Garage on OSU’s campus, over 100,000 pounds of FORTA-FERRO® has been utilized as reinforcement in recent years.
