Project Description
A luxury high rise hotel in Boston Harbor was in need of a superior reinforcement method for a topping slab. Project specifiers decided to utilize FORTA-FERRO® to replace traditional welded wire and light gauge bar for 10,000 yards of concrete. This project helped to demonstrate the effectiveness of FORTA-FERRO® as a superior reinforcement method compared to traditional practices. Project owners were extremely happy with the speed of construction, ease of placement, increased worker safety, and superior strength with the addition of fiber for a portion of their project.
