FORTA-FERRO reinforcement fibers were specified at 8 lb/cu yd in this new exterior parking lot in Walton, Kentucky. The owner is very familiar with the reinforcement capabilities of FORTA-FERRO and wanted an added level of toughness, and increased impact and abrasion resistance. Adding FORTA’s macro synthetic fiber saved time and money in this 10-inch SOG by eliminating traditional steel reinforcements that can be quite costly and dangerous. Contractors performed a heavy broom finish and were satisfied with the final product.
