Project Description
A large machinery and construction equipment manufacturer needed an extremely durable concrete slab that could withstand heavy loads. To meet this need, FORTA-FERRO® was specified to reinforce a 10” thick slab-on-grade to house their large trucking and construction equipment. In order to provide superior crack control and durability to the slab, an 8.0 lbs. / cu. yd. dosage of FORTA-FERRO® was added to the concrete mix. Even with a higher fiber dosage, FORTA-FERRO® was easily mixed, placed, and finished.
