Project Description
FORTA-FERRO® was chosen to replace 6×6 4.0×4.0 specified steel in this project owned by Happy Travelers. By replacing the steel and using FORTA-FERRO®, the owner was able to reduce the slab thickness which in turn, reduced the costs of the project. By replacing steel, the fibers provided a more simplified placement method while also improving the safety during the pours. By incorporating FORTA-FERRO® into the mix, the concrete will have better crack containment when compared to traditional steel reinforcement.
