Description
This warehouse near the Piedmont Triad International Airport, is located in an area of tremendous growth. Triad Design Engineering worked with FORTA Engineers to design this project using their parameters and joint spacing. Based on this design, they specified 3.0 lb/cu yd of FORTA-FERRO macro synthetic fibers for the 220,000 sq ft floor for long-term durability and structural enhancements. In addition, elimination of traditional wire mesh and rebar allowed contractors to stay on schedule even during nationwide shortages.
