Project Description
This project was to replace an existing 4″ slab with 10″ slab due to the higher road requirements of General Electric. This was a very fast paced pour schedule and the concrete work had to be done while the plant was not in operation, mostly late at night. The contractor requested FORTA-FERRO® in order to easily adhere to the expedited pour schedules. In addition, FORTA-FERRO® was beneficial in order to reduce curling and cracking. This General Electric Transportation facility required an extremely flat slab-on-ground and FORTA-FERRO® was the solution.
