FORTA-FERRO macro-synthetic fibers replaced specified steel in this Federal Courthouse new construction build. This multi-story slab-on-metal deck project used 5.0 lb/cu yd of reinforcement fibers for added durability. This allowed the contractor to save time and money while reducing the expense and risk of using steel reinforcement.
