Project Description
Winchester Homes was in need of retaining walls for a recent project. Retaining walls are needed to restrain soil to a slope that it would not naturally stay stationary. The walls need to be extremely durable, therefore, Winchester Homes decided to reinforce them with FORTA-FERRO® macro synthetic fibers. The walls were made with individual 84” x 72” x 36” units that used 2 yards of concrete each. Each unit was then hollowed out and filled with stone after placement. Cabin Branch is one of the few projects using these unique units. The face of the unit can be modified with different form liners, allowing for a variety of looks.
