Description
Numerous FORTA-FERRO reinforced jointless roller skating rinks have been constructed across the United States since 2004. This led the engineer to consult with FORTA on the best approach to construct the City Walk Roller Skating Rink Project. FORTA-FERRO macro synthetic fiber was the best decision to a joint and crack-free surface on this significantly large slab-on-ground. Macro synthetic fibers provide 3-D reinforcement, increased post-crack residual strength, and increased surface durability.
This joint free skate rink received the 2022 FRCA Innovative Fiber Project of the Year Award.
