Project Description
Caldwell Concrete needed a superior reinforcement method for a pavement slab that would need to withstand extremely heavy truck traffic on a daily basis. Project owners decided to reinforce the 6” slab-on-ground with 5 lbs. / cu. yd. of 2-1/4” FORTA-FERRO®. Caldwell Concrete Inc. also opted for a joint-free slab design in order to showcase FORTA-FERRO®’s post-crack benefits. Overall, project owners and specifiers appreciated the easy mixing and placing ability of the fiber and were happy with the finish of the final product.
