Breezy Acres Greenhouse – Centre Hall, PA

This greenhouse replaced 6×6 W2.9 x W2.9 specified steel with FORTA-FERRO reinforcement fibers. Due to the high costs of traditional steel reinforcement this contractor was able to pass on some of the savings to the customer by using a macro synthetic reinforcement. At a dosage of 3.0 lb/cu yd of reinforcement fibers this project will benefit from reduced cracking as well as increased concrete toughness. Due to the high moisture atmosphere of this greenhouse, owners will be please to know that FORTA-FERRO is non-corrosive and will remain Stronger Lasting® for many years to come.
