Project Description
Betters Warehouse was the first of many projects for the Shell Oil Corporation. This initial project was needed to create a lay down yard for the larger buildings yet to come. The slab was 7 inches thick on one layer of plastic sheeting. By choosing to use FORTA-FERRO®, the joints were able to be 26’ x 26’ while still maintaining a durable foundation. Also, by using the fibers, they were able to speed up the pour process, saving time and money.
