Project Description
The Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT) needed to quickly repair a section of a collapsed bridge system on I-85. FORTA-FERRO® was chosen to reinforce the column mix in order to minimize micro-cracking and add toughness. The project contractor, tasked with the quick completion date, finished in record time with the help of FORTA-FERRO®. The entire project was completed in just 6 weeks, a full month before the deadline, pleasing transportation officials, business owners, and the thousands of travelers who drive on I-85 each day.
