Project Description
The City of Oshkosh, WI needed to replace Main Street due to the deterioration of the existing concrete street. Also, with a new sports arena in the plans adding more traffic to the street, the City of Oshkosh wanted to replace the existing street with a more durable, longer life concrete pavement. City Engineers chose to use concrete reinforced with 5.0 lb/ cu yd for FORTA-FERRO macro-synthetic fibers to aid in controlling cracking as well as make for a tougher more durable concrete pavement.
