Project Description
A dairy farm in Defiance, OH, utilized FORTA-FERRO® to reinforce a slab-on-ground application for the facility’s compost storage. The slab was required to be extremely durable and capable of withstanding heavy weights. FORTA-FERRO® is 100% alkali proof which helps the fiber withstand highly acidic environments like that of cow manure. These types of acidic environments normally contribute to the breakdown of other reinforcement methods, like welded wire and steel rebar.
